Each of them specializes in Japanese steel with both traditional as well as modern handled knives. These shops hold history so dear you cannot help but take amazing photos in memory of history. There exists a shop that is dated over 600 years ago believed to have been owned by Samurai sword owners. This market is truly the business hub. It is known for its famous Tuna Auction. Here, you can get to witness how Tokyo’s largest tuna exchange hands. As traders barter over super expensive fish, numbers get yelled out and hats were thrown randomly in the air. To witness the auction is simply emotionally thrilling and quite a rare event. Even getting to the auction itself does not come easy, as only 60 people are allowed at a time.
