The Best Time of Year to Visit Los Angeles
Los Angeles is every photographer’s and tourist’s ideal vacation location. This bright and sunny city has something going on every season, with little to no downtime. Los Angeles, California has an abundance of photographers, some of the best photographers in the world live in this celebrity rich city. The best season to visit LA depends on what your hobbies and interests are, though you may catch a photo with your all-time favorite celebrity during any season of the year! During the summer season, you will want to spend most of your time on the various beaches down the coast or in entertaining water parks. In the wintertime, it’s not quite hot enough to swim in the Pacific Ocean and you might be interested in a successful annual shopping spree instead. Either way, anywhere you go, anytime you go, will fulfill your high expectations of the city you’ve seen one time too many on the big screen. Here is a breakdown of the highlights of each season in Los Angeles. [gallery columns="4" ids="177814,177815,177813,177812"] Engagement photoshoot by Polina, Localgrapher in Los Angeles - 2
Visiting Los Angeles in Spring
Some would say Spring is the most photogenic season in Los Angeles and may be the best season to hire a professional photographer. The sky is a clear crisp blue and the sun is shining over the beaches and quintessential Hollywood mountains. You can’t take a trip to LA without having at least one photoshoot with the Hollywood sign in the background! While there may be some rainy or cold days that hit LA in Spring, they won’t last very long and gives you the opportunity to wear a blend of your best seasonal outfits. During the Spring season in LA there are also heaps of festivals in a variety of neighborhoods. Los Angeles has a rich Mexican community and is a great place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, there is a Banjo and Fiddle Fest for music lovers, the NoHo Theatre and Arts Festival to experience LA’s finest art scene, Carnevale! at Venice Beach, the Strawberry Festival in Garden Grove and the Cherry Blossom festival in different areas of LA. If you’re traveling with your family, now’s the opportunity to make your children’s dreams come true by spending a day in Universal Studios, and hire a Los Angeles family photographer to document an unforgettable trip!

Visiting Los Angeles in Summer
If you’re a beach person, you won't be disappointed with the beach selections along the Los Angeles coast. Many couples hire engagement photographers to have an epic photoshoot at El Matador State beach because of its magnificent rock formation and wonderful caves. If you’re going to tour the beaches in Los Angeles you can’t possibly leave out Venice Beach. Venice Beach is where you can swim, surf, shop, eat, bike or walk along the promenade. There is always something going on in Venice beach with hours worth of exploring. Your personal Los Angeles photographer can send you the photos he or she has taken of you in Venice beach to upload to your Instagram account. But then again, if your photographer captures you with one of the many Hollywood celebrities walking down Rodeo Drive, then you’ll need those photos for your Instagram as well! In the summer everything moves outdoors. You can look out for a show in the LA Summer Theatre Festival and watch some of Los Angeles's best up and coming actors, or you can head out to the Orange County Fair, which runs from mid-July to mid-August. The Orange County Fair is full of rides, games, animals and much more, great for the whole family. Don’t forget to search for an affordable photographer to join you on your trip through the many festivals and fairs throughout the summer. And, if you’re in LA for July 4th you can catch the July 4th parade and celebrate with the locals!

Visiting Los Angeles in Autumn
Autumn is pleasant in Los Angeles because the summer season can get extremely hot, and if you’re not on the beach or having fun in a water park you may find yourself thirsty and tired. Autumn, on the other hand, will still have extremely warm days, but if you’re lucky the temperature will be cooler. In Autumn you can hire a private photographer to photograph your day in Beverly Hills California. You can have your photograph taken on the Hollywood walk of fame with your very own personal photographer. What better place to feel like a celebrity than in Los Angeles, California? If you’re interested in exploring the neighborhood where many of the young hipsters are living, then you should take a drive to Echo Park or Silver Lake. If you have never been to Mexico, then you should at least try Mexican food in LA, some would say it’s equally authentic and just as tasty. You can also dine in some of the best restaurants in the world around Venice beach, or a sunset dinner on Malibu Beach and call it your best vacation yet.
