I travel a lot for work, and whenever I visit somewhere new I usually book a photo session — I'm a photographer myself for everyone else, but rarely get good photos of my own, probably because I have standards my friends and family can't quite match. The first time I booked, it was rainy so we shot up close by the landmark. This time, booking again, I was lucky enough to get Carlota again, who'd done a great job for me a year earlier. This time we shot from a different spot with a full view of the landmark, and once again he was a pleasure to work with — he understood exactly what I wanted, brought his own great ideas, and was flexible with my specific requests. Because of Carlota, I'd highly recommend this for travelers wanting good value and flexible scheduling. Just to set expectations: this is great value, not a substitute for a high-end luxury photographer — though your specific photographer might nail a few standout shots at that level. Don't expect the same results you'd see from a top-tier luxury shoot in under 45 minutes at this price. That said, Carlota got me about as close as possible to what I was after.
