About Chiara

Style:

My images are inspired by my love of life, people and their stories and I prefer honest, creative, documentary photography that celebrates real life, spirit, emotion and individuality, so, whenever possible, I hope that people I photograph forget me during the shooting.
I usually have a minimalist style, clear, with not frills.

Likes:

I love to visit my city with foreign people because I see it with new eyes. I really love children and to connect with their. I like street food.

Recommended places:

Capital of Sicily, Palermo is a city of rich history and impressive architecture—with hidden secrets round every corner. It’ a beautifull experience to stroll around the Piazza Pretoria and Piazza Bellini, examples of Arab, Norman, Byzantine, and Spanish art. Then, walk across the “Cassaro” to see San Francesco church, Piazza Marina and the oldest giant Ficus tree in Europe. You will also see the ancient palaces from the Spanish Inquisition and the amazing Spasimo church. Walk along the waterfront, on the huge grass overlooking the sea and the harbor, heading to the first Arab castle on the charming port of Cala. Discover three separate markets: Capo Market (Mercato di Capo), Ballaro Street Market (Mercato Ballarò), and La Vucciria—in some of the oldest areas of Palermo. Then, walk across the Teatro Massimo, the Palermo Cathedral and the Royal Palace of Palermo (Palazzo dei Normanni)— part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then one of Sicily’s most famous historical attractions is without a doubt the Valley of the Temples, just outside Agrigento.
