There are several mountain tops right in my valley I regularly shoot families on which take 20-30 minutes to reach by cable car. They give 360 views of the Alps spreading 100's of kilometers into the distance, not to mention the view of the valley floor below. Have a look at my example photos.

The Zugspitze, Germany's Highest mountain, is absolutely amazing if you have the time, it's an all day trip. It has a mind blowing , world record holding Cable Car and it's own narrow gauge Cogwheel Railway.

Neuschwanstein Castle is a once in a lifetime experience. It's the castle that inspired Walt Disney's Cinderella in 1950. There are great views looking up at it, as well as on the hill next to it. I have guided many people to this location and have done engagement and commercial shoots there.

Oberammergau is the home of the world famous Passion Play. It's been performed every decade since 1633. The next one is next summer in 2020. Oberammergau is also home to another famous castle from King Ludwig II, Linderhof. The grounds around castle and the beautiful Graswang valley it's located in make for amazing Alpine scenery. And you can get a castle tour too!

We don't need to travel for great shots. The scenery right in my valley is amazing. There are mountain views all around and meadows surround the picturesque village. And yes, the village of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is amazing. Even in "less than optimum" weather, there are great shots right in town. We can walk from your hotel and get to great locations in a matter of minutes.
