Ian's style
My photoshoot style is very candid/documentary. I love riding along with my clients and taking pictures of them throughout the shoot. Whether that's on a hike or at a local attraction; I love capturing those in between moments of excitement, love, and curiosity.
What Ian loves
I like taking pictures of every detail. When I'm on vacation I take pictures of everything—the hotel room, food, the city, my family and the people I meet. I try to capture what it's like to be there.
Ian's favourite photo spots
One of my favorite spots for family shoots in town is Roxborough State Park. It's super accessible from the city and is full of easy hikes with unbeatable scenery. Another local favorite is a neighborhood called RINO. It's popular among tourists for a reason. It's full of the breweries, restaurants, and murals Denver is known for. Lastly, if you're looking for the classic Colorado town, I can't recommend Leadville enough. It's one of our oldest towns and is famous for being the highest elevation city in Colorado. There you can get a feel for Colorado's mining history and and an idea of what it was like to live in the old west. It's also the gateway to some of our highest peaks.
