TOPANGA CANYON is a fun and historical hidden gem in the L.A. area. If you're into the whole boho vibe or have an affinity for anything hippy, nature, or earthy then Topanga Canyon is your new favorite spot in Los Angeles. There are several hidden places for epic photo or video shoots e.g., traveler (Gypsie) carriage, boutique shopping village, tunnels, caves, trails, and even a hidden walkable labyrinth atop of a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and all of the Malibu and Santa Monica coastline.

DTLA (downtown Los Angeles) especially on a Sunday is perfect for photography and video. There are endless locations to shoot both video and photos e.g., Disney Concert Hall, the top of several parking garages, innumerable art museums, graffiti murals, the Water and Power building, random alley ways, on the busy streets with strangers walking by, cute cafes, and an old school yoga studio owned by a friend of mine.

ABBOT KINNEY neighborhood is a very special area located in Venice Beach. This area has tons of cool spots for photos and videos. There are numerous cafes, shops, and murals all clustered together on one long strip (Abbot Kinney). Think hipster meets high fashion and fancy restaurants without the pretentious vibe.

VENICE CANALS is a great location with several options for photos and video. If you've never been to the Venice Canals it's quite the treat and lends very well to engagement type scenarios, dating, couple, etc.
