A professional photographer took some really wonderful photos of me — I'm terrible at selfies, so I booked her specifically for Christmas market shots, which works fine solo. Advice: book at least 30 minutes for the market since there's walking between spots and 15 minutes wouldn't cover it. I traveled alone and the 30-minute session was more than enough.

<span style="font-weight: 400">Mimmo handled our family of six on Via Positanesi d'America and somehow got two grandparents, two kids under eight, and my husband and me all looking relaxed in the same frame. He shot us at 7 AM before the staircase crowds, the whole cliff-hugging path was empty, and the gallery came back inside four business days. Our seven-year-old still asks when we are going back to the village on the cliff.</span>
