Ah, Puerto Madero. Truly a unique district which has blended port Buenos Aires history and modernity into one. History has been made here, in the port area of Buenos Aires that is Puerto Madero. Here, you can capture the perfect mingle of “furious” cosmopolitan life with everything historical about the city. You’ll find many attractions for sightseers here more so than activities. Just by taking a walk anywhere along the water, perfect photos can be made. Puerto Madero is an area to experience with the eyes and a camera on hand. Puente de la Mujer Puente de la Mujer or “Bridge of the Woman” is an iconic part of this district. The bridge itself is an architectural and engineering masterpiece which stands iconically in the middle of the port. It also serves the purpose of connecting to one of the most contemporary parts of the city. Truly an homage to the many women present in Argentina’s history, Santiago Calatrava designed this bridge to look like a couple dancing Tango, and if you look close enough, through its abstract design, you can catch a glimpse of two bodies dancing. One of the most iconic photos to take in Buenos Aires are the ones you’ll capture on this bridge and around Puerto Madero. Buenos Aires Skylines Along Puerto Madero As mentioned before, Puerto Madero is an experience made with the eyes. The glimpses you’ll catch from both sides of the bridge will leave you stunned.
